I bought a Rogue RM-4 and never looked back My rogue rack looks flawless, all uprights are of insane quality and feel. The rack had considerable sway and never felt really solid.Įventually it got so bad i said screw it sold it on craiglist for a loss mind you and called it a day. My JCUPS NEVER FIT properly This was one of my key gripes it chipped my ohio bar because of this and they never fit properly. Im not sure if it was or not but drove me bonkers. I spent under $1000 got all the accessories for a T3 and thats where the trouble startedįirst the powdercoat was shit I assembled it one of my uprights always looked curved. I'm looking for advice, and get convinced one way or another, mainly so I can make a decision and get my home gym finished.įirst rack I said ehhh who cares its a power rack! ill get Titan save some cash its fine. Lastly, I know Titan has had recalls, and I'm getting the rack to lift safely, so that's another concern. The shipping concerns with Titan worry me, because I know if my shipment is messed up it will put a sour taste in my mouth for awhile.
But I also want the rack to last, as I don't want to have to buy another rack.
Obviously price is important, but I don't see myself lifting more than 500 lbs (at least anytime soon). But each time I go to check out I think that it's $500 more, and I can do more with that $500 (already have weights, barbell, mats, bench, etc., though).Ĭouple things I should note. But then I started hearing all about the problems (safety, shipping, workmanship, etc.), and for a week I've convinced myself on the Rogue RML-390F. For 2 weeks straight I had convinced myself and budgeted for the Titan X3, because it seemed to be the same as the Rogue, just cheaper. I'm looking at the Titan X3 and Rogue RML-390F, both flat foot racks. For the past few weeks I've been sitting here trying to figure out which rack to get.
